Who needs OLN TV? I mean, really. It's not like you can watch the Giro d'Italia in Canada, even if you did have it. Bull riding? Check. Bass fishing? Check. The world's second greatest cycling stage race? Nope.



But it doesn't really matter anyhow, thanks to RAI.



Thanks to Italian TV, I can watch Basso ride away from Simoni live every morning with their streaming internet coverage of the 2006 Giro d'Italia, plus I can watch 2 hrs of recorded footage when I get home from work, just in case I didn't want to get up at 5:00 AM.



No, it's not quite full size, nor is it HDTV, but hey... When you need your cycling fix, it's better than nothing. Add the live text feed from Cyclingnews.com and a couple of breathtaking Graham Watson pics and it's just like being there.



Be sure to brush up on your Italian.
